Are you in a new relationship and it looks very promising, or in an older relationship with new problems? Maybe you are worried that disagreements are inevitable, and you’re afraid you don’t have the skills to manage them, or maybe you had your first disagreement, and it felt unsettling. You want to make sure that history doesn’t repeat itself and want to learn how to create a healthy, thriving relationship together.

Couples often wonder why they are drifting apart after the honeymoon phase slowly fades. Growing up, many of us didn’t learn the critical skills needed to maintain healthy and successful relationships. As adults, this then shows up in our most intimate connections.

As time passes and the relationship progresses, we naturally reveal more of ourselves to each other and often struggle to define our wants and needs. Without the proper skills to navigate and accept our differences, we may start to resent each other, fight more often and risk losing our connection.
